The heads of state of the two countries will sign a declaration on strengthening the strategic partnership
The head of state Rumen Radev arrived on an official visit to Baku at the invitation of his colleague Ilham Aliyev.
The delegation led by the Bulgarian head of state includes the acting Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov, the chairman of the Bulgaria-Azerbaijan Friendship Group in the National Assembly Hamid Hamid and business representatives.
On May 8, Radev and Aliyev will hold a “face-to-face” meeting. and will lead the plenary talks between the delegations of the two countries. After that, they will sign a Joint Declaration on strengthening the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan.
In Baku, President Rumen Radev will meet with the Speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan Prof. Sahiba Gafarova and will talk with Bulgarian specialists working in the field of sports in Azerbaijan.
Strengthening and deepening the strategic partnership and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, among which energy, economy, high technologies, innovations, transport and tourism will be the focus of the visit of President Rumen Radev.
